We are a privately held, family owned and operated independent construction company, for more than 35 years. We sell, furnish and install most major manufactures: Marvin, Marvin pultruded fiberglass Andersen 100, 200,400, A series, Andersen Eagle, and Pella windows and Doors. We cost less than Andersen’s Renewal by Andersen (Window Warmth, LLC) contractor Grade Fibrex (60% vinyl and 40% saw dust) Windows. Sold at RBA Denver and Home Depot.

Our Marvin Signature, Essential and Elevate, and Andersen Eagle Windows and Doors are high quality and some of the largest US made manufacturers in North America.

Our manufactures provide a transferable glass, frame and installation warranty.

The industry currently manufactures windows and doors being made from wood, wood roll formed aluminum clad, steel, vinyl, and Fibrex. Our windows and doors come in heavy duty Extruded aluminum clad wood frames and pultruded fiberglass framed windows and doors.

We specify altitude correct glazing (thermos-pane glass). Multiple coatings of Silver Oxide (LOW E3)/Multiple coatings of Titanium dioxide (UV protection). Argon gas filled below 6,000 feet. Simply (PG50) Performance Grade 50 rated. More accurate grading than U-factor or R value.

In Colorado, Wood clad rolled formed aluminum rots from outside in. Plastic (vinyl) and Fibrex fades/oxidizes/expands & contracts at a faster rate and subsequently has a shorter life span. They also Warp, twist with heat, and gets brittle, cracks, and splits with UV rays.

The glazing spacers that we use are one-piece stainless steel, which is 8,000 times less conductive than aluminum.

Marvin Clad and Andersen Eagle windows and doors are manufactured with thick, heavy extruded aluminum exterior frames. Exterior extruded aluminum frames are as thick as a quarter, with a thermal break between the wood interiors.

Marvin Essential and Elevate windows and doors are an all pultruded fiberglass exterior frame, with or without wood interior. Marvin Essential and Elevate windows and door frames are as strong as steel.

The Marvin pultruded window frame can withstand temperatures from -40 degrees up to 328 degrees without twisting or warping.

The Marvin pultruded frame is 4 times stronger then Fibrex, and 8 times stronger than vinyl. The Marvin Pultruded windows are energy efficient from -20 degrees to 190 degrees. Marvin pultruded fiberglass saves more than 100 billion board feet of lumber and does not decay. Exterior is not affected by water or weather. Not affected by hail.

Buddy was the consummate window professional! I had been talking to several window replacement companies including Renewal by Anderson and ran across Colorado Rockies Windows & Doors' ad in the Summit Daily. I had grown frustrated with the lack of follow-through with the other window companies and our winter was coming with snow actually coming in last year through one of my old windows! So time was of the essence.

I phoned Buddy who gave me the option to send in my approximate window measurements to get an initial feel for costs. He then came by and walked me through the colors, options, brands, warranties and the like, and took more exact measurements. We discussed pricing and I decided to go with replacements on my upper level to start with, and he scheduled the next phases of the project so we could get the windows financed and ordered from the manufacturer.

Buddy kept me in the loop each step of the way and even worked with the finance company to be sure everything was set up properly.

Installation day was scheduled and the installers showed up on time and were SUPER polite and efficient. They finished the whole job in one day, even replacing a couple of boards on the home's exterior that were rotten. Such nice young men, they were a pleasure.

We replaced 46 windows & 2 doors with Marvin Ultimate windows on a very difficult site overhanging a cliff. We needed to use pump-jack scaffolding and a 75 ton crane because of the size of some of the windows and the difficulty of access, and despite the real installation challenges, the installation team did a great job and always maintained a super positive can-do attitude. Also, the initial recommendations by Buddy were spot on in terms of new configurations, he really knows his stuff. I highly recommend this team, they are thoroughly professional and provided a quality installation at fair value and with great products.

I have had an opportunity to use Colorado Rockies Windows and Doors to install a French Door and 2 sliding windows in my home. They did a great job on the project. They were prompt and efficient and the Marvin windows and door they installed are excellent. I had one minor interior trim issue and immediately came back out and fixed the problem. Buddy LaFemina is an excellent owner who does what he says, when he says he will do it.

We replaced out Summit County home's windows in two phases. Buddy was a joy to work with and offered quality products at a better price than others I spoke with. He is very responsive, calling or emailing almost immediately when I initiated contact. I was not able to be at home for either installation but, both times, the crews did a fantastic job leaving our place clean and tidy. I highly recommend Colorado Rockies Windows and Doors!
